EASA Issues Emergency Engine-Icing AD on Falcon 2000EX
Manufacturing deficiency in some engine air-inlet anti-ice piccolo tubes could degrade performance of the engine anti-ice protection system.

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has issued an Emergency Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2015-0102-E, effective June 10, for the engine air and anti-ice system on all serial numbers of the Dassault Falcon 2000EX. A quality review of recently delivered aircraft identified a manufacturing deficiency in some engine air-inlet anti-ice piccolo tubes that, if not corrected, could degrade performance of the engine anti-ice protection system, with consequent ice accretion and ingestion. This condition could possibly result in dual engine power loss and reduced aircraft control. This AD is considered an interim measure and further action might be required.
