French Airport Operator Buys Spanish FBO Network

The acquisition is part of a strategy to establish a pan-European FBO network and brings the company's ground handling services to nine Spanish airports.

Sky Valet, the growing FBO brand owned and operated by France’s Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur Group, acquired Spain’s largest private aircraft ground handler with its purchase of Gestair FBO from the Gestair Group. The acquisition, part of Sky Valet's development strategy to establish a pan-European FBO network, brings the company's ground handling services to eight Spanish airports: Madrid (which also has a 24/7 operations center), Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Girona, Valencia, La Coruña and Santiago de Compostela.
