Yukon, Oklahoma-based maintenance provider Legacy Aviation has doubled-down on its investment in supporting the Beechcraft King Air line. Company president and CEO R.J. Gomez said, “Our market research indicates that nearly 600 King Airs are based within a 500-mile radius of our facility. We have maintained strong relationships with many regular King Air clients over the years, giving our technicians a real strong knowledge of the airframe and their systems.” As part of its initiative, Legacy recently hired new employees with King Air expertise, as well as engine specialists with extensive Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada PT6 background. King Air maintenance operations have expanded to include more airframe services, inspections, modifications, avionics and work on engines and propellers. Gomez said, “Quality and knowledgeable service doesn’t just happen...it’s something an organization works on for years and demonstrates every day to customers. Legacy has a reputation for being thorough in our service and extremely responsive to AOG situations for our customers.” Legacy also operates a full-service FBO at Clarence Page Airport (KRCE), which has a 7,000-foot runway. “We want the King Air community to know we’re completely committed to them here at Legacy,” said Gomez.
