Ottawa, Ontario-based TrueNorth said its promotional offer for the company’s MagnaStar replacement aircraft telephone system, Simphone, is ending on December 20. <a href="http://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/aviation-international-news/2013-09-04/airfone-shutdown-imminent-no-extensions">MagnaStar is being shut down</a> on December 31, and reportedly “hundreds” of users have not upgraded yet. For now, TrueNorth is offering special pricing (not including installation) for its three solutions: phone system upgrade, $19,980; phone and broadband-ready upgrade, $24,980; and phone, Wi-Fi and Fans-1/A, $24,980. Authorized installers include Duncan Aviation and Innotech Aviation.
