Beginning next month, Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport (FLL) will be experiencing runway closures for resurfacing. The 9,000-foot main runway (9L) will be closed for approximately two months, leaving 6,930-foot Runway 13/31 as the primary runway. Runway 9R will close for construction beginning next year, while Runway 13/31 will be permanently decommissioned in 2013.
