Contemporary Research Corp. is introducing its new Media Manager 1 (MM1) interactive cabin management system. The company claims that MM1 is the “first product to incorporate large scale audio/video and total control in one complete package.” The 12 audio/video channels delivered by the MM1 can be expanded by the addition of Media Manager 2 secondary controllers for a maximum of 100 passenger stations controlled by the system. Each passenger station can be served with a variety of input/output jacks and media functions such as attendant call buttons, and control of lights and drapes. The MM1 delivers its channels over ultra-thin, lightweight broadband coaxial cable and provides reliable control with a minimum amount of installation labor.
