Bombardier will continue its Safety Standdown Europe

Bombardier Aerospace marked EBACE eve with its second annual day-long European Safety Standdown, and made it clear that the program in Europe will continue

Bombardier Aerospace marked EBACE eve with its second annual day-long European Safety Standdown, and made it clear that the program in Europe will continue.
The European Safety Standdown in Geneva last year was the first time the event had been held outside Bombardier’s Learjet hometown of Wichita, Kansas, since it was launched 1997. Bombardier offered the changing international landscape for business aviation as one reason for creating the European event. “Deliveries industry-wide have more than doubled in the past three years, creating a need for improved training in the international market,” said Safety Standdown fundamentals speaker and Bombardier Learjet chief pilot David Ryan, at a Sunday press conference about the event.

“The problems that plague aviation safety in North America are the same worldwide [and] Bombardier is bringing this seminar to Europe to address these universal issues,” he added.
