Midcoast Aviation has a long history of doing interior completion work on Challenger 604s for Bombardier and recently began work on the first of four Global 5000s. The schedule calls for deliveries of finished Global 5000s through June next year–one of them a special mission aircraft for the FAA, two in executive livery for General Electric and the fourth in executive configuration for an unidentified customer.

Midcoast continues to finish Challenger 604s under contract for Bombardier, most of them as part of a joint program with Bombardier and aircraft acquisitions specialist JetCraft of Raleigh that began in January 2003. The finished 604s are delivered to JetCoast, the marketing arm of JetCraft, for delivery to the end user. A source at Midcoast said the company is currently working on the 12th aircraft to be completed under the program.
