Washington Report: Aerospace Group Gets Results

While Congress has acted on several recommendations from the Commission on the Future of the U.S.

While Congress has acted on several recommendations from the Commission on the Future of the U.S. Aerospace Industry, the group is still concerned about the lack of coordination and communication between executive branch departments having jurisdiction over the air-transportation system.

A primary recommendation was to “immediately create a multi-agency task force with the leadership to develop an integrated plan to transform our air-transportation system.” The commission found that without a significant transformation of the system, the American public would become increasingly frustrated by travel delays and inefficiencies.
