July 17 is the deadline to submit comments on an FAA notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) to require OEMs of aircraft with mtow of more than 75,000 pounds to develop operational limitations for all future designs. Business jet designs made after the effective date of the rule would be included, but older and currently built jets weighing more than 75,000 pounds and not used under Part 121 would be excluded from the rule.
