Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Airbus has continued with a steady flow of order announcements during the Paris Air Show, announcing four more deals combined for up to 26 aircraft and helicopters on Wednesday.
Starlux Airlines of Taiwan placed a firm order for 10 more A350-1000 widebodies, joining the Taiwanese carrier’s all-Airbus fleet of A350-900, A330neo, and A321neo airliners. Starlux has 30 aircraft on order, including A350F freighters, in addition to the A350-1000s.
Egyptair disclosed an order for six more A350-900s, bringing its total order tally for the type to 16. The agreement, the second Egyptair has placed for the model, comes as the airline looks to modernize its fleet and expand its network over the next five years.
These deals also included a memorandum of understanding with global logistics provider MNG Airlines for two A350F freighters. The agreement positions the A350F to become a key part of MNG’s future fleet as it expands its trade lanes in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. The aircraft will support its scheduled and charter operations.
On the helicopter side, Norwegian Air Ambulance signed a frame contract for up to eight Airbus H145s. That contract includes a firm order for two.
