CAE Demos Eye-tracking for ATC Controller Training
Enables assessment of how students scan, process, and respond in a dynamic environment
CAE eye-tracking for air traffic controller training
CAE is proposing to use eye-tracking technology to improve air traffic controller training.

CAE is bolstering its air traffic services training capabilities with eye-tracking technology that would be used to assess how trainees scan, process, and respond to dynamic radar environments. The training provider already uses eye tracking for pilot training and is demonstrating it at Airspace World 2025 this week in Lisbon, Portugal.

During the demonstration, visitors can participate in a real-time operational environment and see how eye-tracking analytics can be used to “assess trainee focus, scanning behavior, and response prioritization under pressure,” according to CAE.
