Airbus Picks Curtiss-Wright for A350F Technology
Curtiss-Wright will provide custom electric actuation technology for the Airbus A350 freighter.

Curtiss-Wright announced Monday at the Farnborough Airshow that it was selected by Airbus to provide custom electric actuation technology for the main deck cargo door on the A350F freighter. The A350F is a variation of the A350 and will be the first wide-body freighter built mostly of composite materials and is expected to be the only airplane of its kind capable of meeting the latest ICAO CO2 emissions requirements that come into effect in 2027.
