Transavia To Test New Fuel-efficiency Solution

Low-cost carrier Transavia teams up with OpenAirlines to launch real time and in-flight fuel-saving application for the cockpit.

Toulouse-based software company OpenAirlines signed an agreement with Transavia that will see the low-cost carrier (part of the Air France KLM group) implement its new SkyBreathe OnBoard fuel-saving application for the cockpit. SkyBreathe OnBoard is a connected electronic flight bag application, which uses big data and artificial intelligence to detect fuel-saving opportunities during a flight.
