Mitsubishi's First MRJ Starts Flight Tests in U.S.

First flight out of Moses Lake lasts three hours and 18 minutes

The first Mitsubishi MRJ flight-test aircraft started flight tests in the U.S. on October 17, taking off from Grant County International Airport in Moses Lake, Washington, at 1:20 p.m. local time. The airplane flew for three hours and 18 minutes, returning to Moses Lake at 4:38 p.m., Mitsubishi reported. The company reported no anomalies during the flight.
