Air Canada Confirms C Series Order
Contract including options valued at $6.3 billion

Air Canada has converted its letter of intent covering 45 Bombardier CS300s to a firm order, Bombardier and the airline announced Tuesday. The contract, originally announced in February, includes options for another 30 CS300s. Bombardier values the firm order at US$3.8 billion based on list prices. The amount would increase to $6.3 billion should Air Canada exercise its options on all 30 aircraft.
