A day after Airbus Group CFO Harald Wilhelm’s remarks about the prospects for the end of A380 production, executives engaged in some damage control on Thursday at the company’s Global Investor Forum in London, insisting that the future of the superjumbo remains bright while conceding the need for performance improvements.
