Lot to operate Embraer 195s

Embraer has signed a contract with Lot Polish Airlines to convert firm orders on four E175s to the same number of E195s.

Embraer has signed a contract with Lot Polish Airlines to convert firm orders on four E175s to the same number of E195s. The contract calls for deliveries to begin next year, Embraer said.

The Polish airline placed a follow-on order in the fourth quarter of 2007 for 12 E175s (at the time the company operated six E170s and four E175s). Embraer delivered four E175s from that order last year and plans to deliver the remaining four E175s by the end of this year.
