Honeywell’s airline support and aftermarket business gained more momentum here Sunday when the Phoenix, Arizona-based company landed a deal to supply Air New Zealand with wheels and brakes for its entire fleet of Boeing 747-400s. In January 2004, Honeywell and Lufthansa embarked on an STC program to develop new carbon friction material for the 747-400 with tailored friction and wear properties. The companies expect to win approval for the product in the second half of this year.
