German technology supplier Rohde &amp; Schwarz&nbsp;is presenting a variety&nbsp;of aerospace and defense solutions at the Dubai Airshow&nbsp;that deliver&nbsp;safety and efficiency in several domains. These products are a result of&nbsp;the company's&nbsp;expertise in innovation and technology, turnkey communications, and intelligence solutions and components.

 


Rohde &amp; Schwarz&nbsp;(Stand&nbsp;615) provides solutions in test and measurement, broadcast and media, aerospace, defense, security and networks, and cybersecurity. Headquartered in Munich, Germany, the group has 12,100 employees and generated revenues of €2.14 billion ($2.36 billion) in the fiscal year that ended in&nbsp;June.

 


For safe and economical air traffic communications, the VCS-4G&nbsp;internet-protocol communications system in combination with&nbsp;Series 4200 radios provides the optimal solution, according to&nbsp;the company.&nbsp;Rohde &amp; Schwarz&nbsp;said its products provide air traffic communications to 200 airports and air traffic control centers in more than 80 countries.

 


For secure, wideband&nbsp;voice and data communications for network-centric operations,&nbsp;Rohde &amp; Schwarz's Soveron AR software-defined radios provide a solution, and more than 8,000 of these units are&nbsp;in use on&nbsp;70 different airborne platforms.
