Bedek Supports Amazon Air’s Freighter Conversions

Amazon Air taps Bedek for 767 freighter conversions.

Israel’s Bedek Aviation lays claim to supplying three quarters of Amazon Air’s cargo conversions. The company’s strategic plan is to develop Airbus and Boeing conversions, and introduce them to the market “when the time is right.”

Bedek Aviation Group, the MRO and conversion specialist that is part of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), has expanded capacity to generate unlimited slots to support Amazon Prime Air’s operation in a limited time frame, a senior official told AIN on the eve of Farnborough Airshow.
