Boeing Completes Detailed Design of 787-10 Dreamliner

The stretched version of the 787-9 will seat 300-to-330 passengers and fly up to 6,430 nautical miles.

Boeing announced on Wednesday that it has completed the detailed design of the 787-10, the third and longest member of the Dreamliner series, two weeks earlier than planned. The program is on track to begin major assembly of the widebody airliner in 2016, the manufacturer said.
