IAG Converts Options For Four A330s And 15 A320neo Aircraft Into Firm Orders

Widebodies to Fly with Iberia and Aer Lingus

The board of the International Airlines Group (IAG) has converted into a firm order options for 19 airliners, including two A330-200s, two A330-300s and 15 A320neos, Airbus announced yesterday. The latest agreement with IAG and its airlines increases their cumulative Airbus order total to nearly 470 aircraft.

IAG plans to assign the two A330-200s to Iberia and the two A330-300s to Aer Lingus. It hasn’t revealed which airline will fly the 15 A320neos.
