The U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved a bill on November 4 that is designed to help facilitate the emergence of the advanced air mobility (AAM) sector. Passed by a 383-41 margin, the Advanced Air Mobility Coordination and Leadership Act, H.R.1339, would establish an interagency working group to collaborate on the "safety, infrastructure, physical security, cybersecurity, and federal investment necessary to bolster the AAM ecosystem.”
Similar Senate legislation (S.516) was introduced by Sens. Jerry Moran (R-Kansas) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-Arizona) earlier this year and was approved by the Senate Commerce Committee in May.
