<p>Public comments are invited regarding the Department of Transportation (DOT) request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) under the Paperwork Reduction Act to renew information collection on the air taxi industry. The information to be collected is necessary for the DOT to determine whether an air taxi operator meets the agency’s Part 298 criteria for economic authorization. The DOT expects to receive 200 new air taxi registrations and 2,200 amended air taxi registrations each year, resulting in 2,400 total respondents. Comments are due by Sept. 8, 2025.</p>
