Transport Canada has&nbsp;launched two regulatory fee proposals for public consultation and is seeking industry feedback.&nbsp;The proposals concern service fees for aircraft airworthiness and maintenance (comments due by March 27, 2026) and personnel licensing and training (comments due by April 13, 2026). Transport Canada&nbsp;advises&nbsp;that this is a&nbsp;"preliminary consultation," conducted&nbsp;before the&nbsp;regulatory process. It&nbsp;is intended to gather feedback from affected stakeholders to inform the drafting of the proposed regulations.&nbsp;The proposals aim to:&nbsp;increase certain existing fees that have not been updated in more than 20 years; introduce new fees for services that have historically been delivered at no charge; and repeal fees that are no longer relevant.&nbsp;The Canadian Business Aviation Association says it will review the proposals and comment on their impacts.
