<p>The objective of this notice of proposed amendment (NPA) is to update a significant number of areas of Transport Canada’s commercial air services standards to better align them with ICAO standards. Proposals are being made to the regulatory sections involving the contents of company operations manual and flight planning procedures for both on-demand and scheduled commercial services conducted in airplanes and helicopters. The closing date for comments is July 21, 2025, and Transport Canada is targeting publication of the final standard amendments described in this NPA for the third quarter of 2025. It is anticipated that the final standard amendments will be subject to a 30-day delayed implementation period.</p>
