<p>Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority is seeking feedback on a draft advisory circular (AC) containing guidelines for vertical flight aircraft facilities located at airports. The purpose of this AC is to provide guidance to airport and aircraft operators in the planning, design, and operation of both helicopter and other vertical takeoff and landing aircraft at facilities on airports that may have only been designed for fixed-wing aircraft.&nbsp;Among other aspects, guidance is provided on: downwash and outwash hazards; arrival and departure procedures; and physical characteristics of vertical flight facilities. Comments on the draft AC are due by July 8, 2025.</p>
