<p>Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) is requesting comments on&nbsp;draft advisory circular (AC) 21-57&nbsp;that aims to&nbsp;set out guidance on&nbsp;achieving&nbsp;airworthiness cybersecurity for remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS).&nbsp;The AC provides recommendations to comply with RPAS cybersecurity of the&nbsp;remotely piloted aircraft, ground systems, command and control links, supporting infrastructure,&nbsp;flight control systems, navigation/surveillance, sensors/actuators, and mission systems. “Airworthiness cybersecurity protects aviation information systems from cyber threats, especially intentional unauthorized electronic interactions that could affect aviation safety”&nbsp;said CASA.&nbsp;Comments on the AC are due by Dec. 5, 2025.</p>
