Prospective launch customers for the four-passenger aircraft include Evfly and Yugo in Singapore, France-based HeliFirst and Jet Systems Helicoptères Services, California-based Flyshare, and Philjets Group in the Philippines.
The revised version of the five-seater features additional in-wing ducted fans and an extra horizontal propeller, as well as improved access to the passenger cabin.
The French start-up has raised €10 million towards the cost of certifying its four-passenger Atea fixed-wing design by 2025, with a first flight now projected for 2024.
