Training organization is trying to reduce carbon emissions from flights
Tecnam and European Flyers
Tecnam and European Flyers signed a contract for 12 new training aircraft at the Aero Friedrichshafen show in Germany.

Spanish pilot training organization European Flyers has ordered 12 of Tecnam’s P2010 TDI aircraft. Valued at €7 million ($8.2 million), the contract was signed with the Italian manufacturer at the Aero Friedrichshafen show in Germany last week.

The P2010 TDI, which received EASA type certification in October 2020, is powered by a single 170-HP Continental CD-170 diesel engine, supporting a cruise speed of 140 knots and with a fuel burn of just over 5 gallons per hour. Its cockpit features the Garmin G1000 NXi avionics suite.
