Fokker Services Group has gained accreditation as a military design organization from the Dutch defense ministry, clearing the company to conduct modification work on the Embraer C-390M transport aircraft for the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (Royal Netherlands Air Force, or RNLAF).
“It’s an honor for us to assist the RNLAF with our dependable aircraft design expertise,” said Fokker Services co-CEO Roland van Dijk. “We are uniquely positioned to make a significant contribution to the defense of European airspace by bringing our integrated capabilities in design, airworthiness, and maintenance to bear in service of the RNLAF—and, ultimately, in service of society at large.”
The accreditation follows an audit by the Netherlands’ military aviation authority, which approved the company’s engineering and modification procedures under its official terms of accreditation.
Fokker Services has ongoing partnerships with Embraer Defense &amp; Security and the Dutch air force, including a joint hangar facility in Woensdrecht and previous work on the NATO-modified C-390M platform. The company also recently completed a special-mission Gulfstream G550.
The recognition reinforces Fokker’s role in long-term sustainment and operational support of NATO aviation assets.
