Bombardier manufactures a variety of business aircraft models, provides engineering, and aircraft maintenance services.

Bombardier is expanding its London Biggin Hill service center by adding a dedicated paint facility. Scheduled to open in the latter half of 2026, the 51,000-sq-ft facility will provide additional maintenance and refurbishment options for customers.
Announcing the investment today at the Corporate Jet Investor conference in London, Bombardier Service Center senior director Paul Thompson said the two-bay facility will be able to accommodate two Global 7500s at the same time. "It's the last piece of the puzzle for our customers in London," he commented.
The paint shop is expected to employ more than 50 skilled technicians. It will be located adjacent to the company's existing Biggin Hill service center, which spans nearly 250,000 sq ft and offers scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, avionics upgrades, and modifications for Bombardier’s Globals, Challengers, and Learjets.
“The addition of the new paint facility at the London Biggin Hill Service Centre is the latest example of how we continue to expand our service offerings for our customers in order to keep their aircraft in the air—and looking good as well,” said Paul Sislian, Bombardier's executive v-p of aftermarket service and strategy. He noted that the expansion aligns with Bombardier’s broader strategy to enhance customer service across its global network.
Opened in 2017 and expanded in 2022, the London Biggin Hill Service Centre serves as a key maintenance hub for Bombardier aircraft in the region. Bombardier has recently undertaken additional projects at the site, including a material lounge launched last year in partnership with F/List. The 700-sq-ft lounge provides access to a broad selection of interior materials for aircraft refurbishment.
Bombardier has also incorporated sustainability initiatives at the facility, installing more than 3,000 solar panels on its roof. Additionally, a new line maintenance station was established at nearby Farnborough Airport to expand service options in the region.
According to Zeshan Malik, Bombardier's v-p for corporate development and aftermarket programs, the OEM expects to announce further new MRO initiatives this year. He told CJI conference attendees that it has recently expanded its Singapore facility and is looking at other regions for possible expansion of service, including Africa.
