Adventure Pilot App Adds Checklists, Helicopter Mode
The iFly EFB app from Adventure Pilot has been updated with new features including checklists and helicopter mode for rotary-wing pilots.
Adventure Pilot has updated the iFly EFB app to version 12.1 to include checklists and helicopter mode. The app is one of the few electronic flight bag (EFB) apps with a full feature set that is available for iOS, Android, and Windows devices.
Checklists can be accessed from the sketch tab, which now includes checklists and weight and balance in addition to the sketch feature. Pilots can create checklists from scratch or start with a premade sample based on the type of aircraft, although the ability to import checklists isn't available yet. The iFly EFB checklists are designed to help pilots simplify the flying process, and each step is organized in a customizable sequential order.
