Teen Pilot Flies Piper Cub to AirVenture

Fourteen-year-old Kyle Carden flew 800 nm in a Piper Cub to reach AirVenture this year.

Fourteen-year-old Kyle Carden flew 800 nm in a Piper J3 Cub to reach EAA AirVenture Oshkosh this year. The teenager left the Mobile Bay area in Alabama on July 19 with co-owner and certified flight instructor Philip Grice of Continental Motors. At AirVenture, the Cub can be found at Continental Motors’ booth (main aircraft display 229-234).
