Pennsylvania Pilot Selected for EAA Young Eagles Award
John Mininger has flown 750 children as part of the EAA Young Eagles program.

John Mininger, a licensed pilot and active member of several aviation associations, was selected as this year’s Phillips 66 Aviation’s EAA Young Eagles Leadership Award winner. Mininger, who has been an active participant in Young Eagles for the past 22 years, has flown more than 750 children as part of the program. Young Eagles is designed to introduce youth between the ages of eight and 17 to aviation by providing them with free introductory flights. Founded in 1992, the program recently reached the two millionth flight of a Young Eagle.
