Dynon Shows Off ADS-B Products for GA
Combining several products lets customers meet the ADS-B mandate for less than $3,000, says the company.

Dynon Avionics is at AirVenture with new products and initiatives to help its customer base—Experimental and Light Sport aircraft operators—meet ADS-B Out requirements associated with NextGen. Leading the list of products on display from the Woodinville, Wash. manufacturer is its $590 SV-2020-compliant ADS-B GPS priced at $590.

The receiver/antenna combination acts as a drop-in replacement for the Dynon SV-GPSD-250 so owners need not install a new rack or run additional wiring. Combined with Dynon’s SV-XPNDR-261 mode-S transponder, SkyView and Advanced Flight Systems, the product allows aircraft owners to meet all the requirements for NextGen for $2,790. They can then add Dynon’s SV-ADSB-470 Traffic and Weather receiver for additional situational awareness.

The company is also offering software updates to its SkyView and AF-5000 products to bring them in line with NextGen mandates. Dynon is offering Advanced Quick Panels for a “leave the panel to us” service for builders, and the support team is on hand at AirVenture with a program defined as “first dream to first flight” guiding the pathway to project completion.
