Scheme Designers Highlight Decals for Cirrus Aircraft at Sun ’n’ Fun 2014
Limited-edition artwork can save owners thousands, says the company.
Cirrus owners can use decal sets from Scheme Designs to replace cracked and faded decals on their aircraft rather than repaint the aircraft.

Scheme Designers (HangarA-017) of Cresskill, N.J., designer of aircraft livery for OEMs and custom paint schemes for aircraft owners, is featuring its newly introduced Cirrus Applied Art decals here at Sun ’n’ Fun 2014 in Lakeland, Fla. The company has created 12 limited-edition vinyl design sets, and only 15 of each—numbered and signed by the artist—are available.

The original decals on many Cirrus aircraft have become cracked and faded, and owners can use the decal sets rather than repainting the entire aircraft or spending thousands on factory replacement decals, according to Scheme Designers. Here at the show the company is offering the kits for $1,999 with unlimited color and logo selection.

“Scheme Designers has created each of the 12 Applied Art designs to accentuate the beautiful lines and unique curves of the Cirrus models,” said Craig Barnett, Scheme Designers founder and president. The designs range “from very clean and simple to more aggressive and involved,” he said.

The company also announced here at the show that Janet Davidson has joined Scheme Designers as director of sales. An accomplished pilot with more than 20 years of private, commercial and corporate flying experience, Davidson is also a past Scheme Designers customer.

“Janet experienced the Scheme Designers commitment to realizing the customer’s vision for the aircraft,” said Barnett. “She is uniquely suited to represent the Scheme Designers team and our dedication to artistic design.”
