Apache Multi-year Contract Saves $330 Million, Boeing Says

The manufacturer will provide 244 remanufactured AH-64Es to the U.S. Army over five years, and 24 new-build E-models to Saudi Arabia.

A multi-year procurement of 268 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters will save the U.S. government $330 million over the term of the contract, manufacturer Boeing and the Army’s Apache project manager said. Originally announced on March 15, the five-year, $3.4 billion contract represents the first such agreement for the latest E-model Apache.
