Wheels Up has signed on to Honeywell Aerospace’s fleet maintenance service plan to support its Bombardier Challenger 300-series jets. The deal was announced by Honeywell on Tuesday at NBAA-BACE 2026.
The fleet plan builds on Honeywell’s traditional maintenance service plan, which provides fixed-price coverage for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on avionics, control systems, engines, and auxiliary power units. Phoenix-based Honeywell tailored the fleet version for fractional, charter, and other multi-aircraft operators.
As part of the agreement, Wheels Up gains access to Ensemble, Honeywell’s digital maintenance service that automatically downloads and transmits engine data after every flight to track engine condition and flag potential problems before they disrupt operations. Ensemble also links operational data with engine build records, maintenance records, and a digital engine logbook.
“Aftermarket services are evolving from reactive maintenance to data-driven support, and Ensemble is an important step in that shift,” said Honeywell Aerospace’s v-p of business aviation Taylor Alberstadt. “With Ensemble, operators have access to these crucial insights to identify potential problems early and reduce manual reporting.”
Atlanta-based Wheels Up flies the super-midsize Challenger as one of two key types in its modernized fleet—the other being the Embraer Phenom 300. The charter operator expects to expand its Challenger fleet to meet demand.
“In Q2, Wheels Up achieved the highest completion rate and on-time performance in our company’s history, and we expect this partnership will only continue to elevate our operational reliability,” said Wheels Up COO Dave Holtz. “The predictive insight from Honeywell Aerospace’s Ensemble, paired with its fleet maintenance service plan, gives our team the tools to keep our Challenger fleet flying at the highest standard, reinforcing the disciplined, data-driven operating model that has driven these record results.”
