SyberJet Aircraft has elected to bring the SJ34, an upgraded version of the FAA-certified SJ30-2 light jet, to market with higher-powered Williams engines and SyberVision avionics. Plans call for service entry in 2029, and SyberJet is opening the SJ34 order book this week at NBAA-BACE 2026.

While it hasn’t been determined whether the SJ34 will share the same fly-by-wire flight control system as the stretched SJ36, it will have a pair of more powerful Williams International engines totalling between 5,000 and 6,400 pounds of thrust, and an upgraded interior similar to the SJ36’s. Fewer than ten SJ30-2s, powered by two 2,300-pound-thrust Williams FJ44-2A engines, were manufactured following FAA certification in 2005.

The SJ34, a single-pilot jet, will carry seven occupants. Performance is about the same as the SJ30-2: Mach 0.83 Mmo, 2,500-nm range, 49,000 feet ceiling, and sea-level cabin at 41,000 feet. However, takeoff and climb numbers are expected to improve.

NBAA-BACE visitors can sample the SyberVision avionics, which SyberJet is designing in-house, at its static-display exhibit. The suite includes six touchscreen displays, SyberPilot AI-assisted flight control system, smarter taxi features, and SyberVision charts, with over-the-air update capability. The latter allows pilots to upload flight plans and control cabin temperature remotely, as well as enables remote diagnostics.

SyberJet is inviting potential buyers to join its Passage One program, which is limited to the first 250 customers. Benefits include a $2 million discount on the SJ34’s $12 million list price, 1,000 hours or five-year coverage for the aircraft, 1,000 hours or five years of Williams International’s TAP Blue engine program, fuel for 1,000 hours or five years (maximum 100,000 gallons), and two pilot type-rating training slots.
