Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

The French navy took delivery of the first of three Pilatus PC-24s from Jet Aviation, the FBO/MRO company announced today. Jet Aviation France and the Direction de la Maintenance Aéronautique (DMAé) <a href="https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/business-aviation/2025-10-29/jet-aviation-wins-pc-24-contract-french-navy">inked a contract</a> late last year covering aircraft acquisition, leasing, and ongoing support of the aircraft tailored to the French navy’s operational requirements. Included with the support are onsite dedicated teams to provide maintenance and continuous airworthiness management.
Marine Nationale, the navy's formal designation,&nbsp;will use the PC-24s for pilot training, including instrument flight training, and periodic proficiency checks. In addition, the aircraft will transport urgent cargo.&nbsp;Delivery of the remaining aircraft will follow in subsequent phases.
“This is the culmination of many months of collaboration and partnership between our team, the DMAé, and Pilatus, and it has been a privilege to work together to bring these aircraft into service,” said Jet Aviation president Jeremie Caillet.
The PC-24 fleet is set to grow in military applications with a recent deal announced for the sale of a dozen for the Indonesian Ministry of Defense. Spain is also reported to have ordered the model, which is already in military service in Qatar.
