Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

JetNet is evolving its iQ product from a periodic reporting model to an ongoing, multi-format offering that builds on its industry insights. Rather than making those insights available primarily through quarterly or annual reports, JetNet iQ will offer industry analysis through articles, webinars, digital briefings, and live presentations. The Utica, New York-based company noted that this will provide timely access to the analysis and aligns with how the market absorbs information today.
For JetNet, the new format is a reaffirmation of its commitment to iQ after parting ways with its creator, Rolland Vincent Associates (RVA). It also comes after JetNet acquired Europe-based data specialist WingX.
RVA plans to continue with <a href="https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/air-transport/2026-02-03/jetnet-iq-survey-be-renewed-and-rebranded">a separate industry insight product</a> that JetNet said will complement iQ. “RVA has built a strong reputation for capturing the voice of business aviation operators and translating that sentiment into meaningful market perspective,” said JetNet president and COO Josh Baird. “We’re excited to see RVA continue that work and advance their survey-based insights.”
As for JetNet iQ, “this is just the beginning,” said Richard Koe, managing director of WingX. “We look forward to sharing more exciting developments as JetNet iQ continues to grow and evolve.”
JetNet CEO Derek Swaim added, “Business aviation professionals are increasingly seeking data-driven insights aligned with real-world developments as they unfold. The next generation of JetNet iQ is designed to deliver exactly that.”
