Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

NBAA is bringing back its Flight Deck stage during the 2025 edition of BACE with a broad slate of industry and government leaders who will address a range of pressing topics. Introduced at the 2024 BACE, Flight Deck discussions will take place in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
“The Flight Deck is where the industry’s most influential voices come together to explore the issues that matter most,” said NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen. “These are the people whose perspectives are shaping the future of aviation, and this is the place where those conversations begin.”
Planned sessions for the 2025 edition of Flight Deck will cover aviation breakthroughs and the vision for the future, safety against a backdrop of the high-profile accidents, what’s ahead on the regulatory front, latest trends of the preowned market, and the reshaping of the national airspace.
The speaker lineup includes Michelle “Mace” Curran, former U.S. Air Force Thunderbird pilot and motivational speaker; National Air Traffic Controller Association president Nick Daniels; uAvionix president and CEO Jon Damush; jetAviva CEO Emily Deaton; Gregory Feith, aviation safety and security consultant and former NTSB senior air safety investigator; Archer Aviation CEO Adam Goldstein; Skyryse founder and CEO Mark Groden; NBAA board of directors chair emeritus Lloyd “Fig” Newton; and The Jet Business founder and CEO Steve Varsano.
