A lifelong aviation enthusiast who joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in 2007, Curt came to&nbsp;the publication&nbsp;from the broadcast industry where he was a national science and technology television reporter and producer. He writes on the FBO field, aviation finance, and sustainable aviation and occasionally contributes to&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;sister publication&nbsp;Business Jet Traveler. Curt was a member of the AINtv reporting staff that won the 2008 Aerospace Journalist of the Year award for Best Airshow Daily. That same year, he was a finalist for another AJOYA award. He earned an AJOYA for Best Business Aviation Submission in 2018 and was a finalist in that category in 2021. He received the National Air Transportation Association’s&nbsp; Aviation Journalist Award in 2012 and won a Pegasus Sapphire Business Aviation Award for outstanding journalism in 2021.
Before joining AIN, Curt worked with&nbsp;Consumer Reports’ television division, CRTV, and for several local television news staffs. An honors graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, he earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University in 1995. Curt lives in New York State with his wife and two young sons.

The <a href="https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/business-aviation/2023-11-06/million-air-upgrade-utah-fbo">Million Air FBO</a> at Utah’s St. George Regional Airport (KSGU) held the ribbon-cutting for an in-house restaurant last week. Located on the second floor of the FBO’s terminal, the Jet-A-Way Café is operated by a noted local chef with 27 years of experience who has served as the FBO’s preferred catering partner for more than a year.
The dining room features modern decor, indoor and outdoor seating, and expansive views of the field and Utah’s mountainous red rock landscape.&nbsp;It is open weekdays from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m., offering breakfast favorites such as biscuits and gravy, as well as entrees including seared salmon, house-smoked pulled pork sandwiches, signature burgers, and fresh salads. An in-flight catering menu is also available.
“We’re thrilled to introduce this new amenity for both travelers and the local community, further enhancing the Million Air St. George experience,” said Amanda Zundel, the FBO’s general manager. “This café is more than a place to eat; it’s a destination where guests can enjoy incredible food, world-class hospitality, and the best runway views in Southern Utah.”
“It’s a natural complement to our full suite of services, ensuring every guest enjoys the highest level of care with every visit,” she said.
