Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Avfuel rolled out a portal to provide customers access to reporting documentation and tools surrounding sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and carbon offsets. The AvfuelZero Portal organizes a user’s SAF documentation and other transaction details, such as volume, feedstock, manufacturing, and certification information.
This includes documents involving proof of sustainability, certificates of analysis, bills of lading, and other supporting reports, enabling users to streamline manufacturing verification and certification for ASTM D-7566 and ASTM D-1655 specifications. In addition, users will have access to carbon emissions reporting and information to help them meet their sustainability goals.
“As we continue to increase SAF customers and availability, easy access to transparent documentation has become all the more important to aviation operators,” said Avfuel executive v-p C.R. Sincock II. “They not only need access to the product but also a way to verify their actions and showcase their emissions reduction progress. By launching this portal, we’re further streamlining the journey to net zero and simplifying sustainability for all who are ready to make that commitment.”
Avfuel launched the portal as it continues to ramp up access to SAF. The fuel supply and services provider just added a SAF supply terminal location in Dallas. This is the fourth brought online in the last three months, with other recent additions at Port Everglades, Florida; Linden, New Jersey; and Pasadena, Texas.
Avfuel is demonstrating the portal this week during the NBAA Schedulers &amp; Dispatchers Conference in New Orleans.&nbsp;In addition, Avfuel provides access to SAF at 57 airports, including 24 in the U.S. and 33 across the EU and the UK. The company further manages a book-and-claim program in-house.
