Ortec Engineering, a division of French construction and engineering services company Ortec Group, is showcasing environmentally-friendly innovations for the aerospace, aeronautics, and defense industries at the Paris Airshow this week as it looks to hire new engineers to support its clean energy goals.&nbsp;
During the show, the company specifically is highlighting&nbsp;new projects with low-carbon impacts, including 3-D printing solutions, building information modeling, and virtual training and skills development. The company also offers other high-value-added engineering and maintenance services such as the design and manufacturing of custom tools.&nbsp;
“Ortec Engineering represents both a mindset and an ambition: to be an actor for change,” said Julien Einaudi, managing director of the Ortec Group and the head of its engineering division. “We’ve been working alongside major players in the aerospace and defense industries for several decades. Today, we support them in meeting major technological challenges, such as implementing new energies, analyzing motorization solutions, and managing maintenance data.”&nbsp;
Last year Ortec Group launched its “O’Climat Plan” to demonstrate the company’s commitment to the clean energy transition and the decarbonization of aviation and other industries. Ortec Engineering supports that&nbsp;vision by developing engineering and training programs in the fields of energy, propulsion, lightweight structures, data management, and maintenance optimization.
With about 1,500 engineers and technicians working in nine countries, the company says it plans to hire 2,000 new employees in 2023. In an effort to find new recruits, Ortec Engineering will hold a "job dating" event at the Paris Airshow on Friday, June 23.&nbsp;
