Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Bombardier has realigned its senior leadership team in a series of moves that add an executive-level position focused on supply chain and are in line with the company’s growth plans in defense, services, continuous product improvement, and future manufacturing practices, the Montreal-based airframer announced today.
“Bombardier has successfully embarked on its journey as a company focused on its world-class business jet portfolio. As we continue to meet or exceed targets, it is the right time to thoughtfully reshape key leadership functions to ensure the solid foundation we have set fully carries our momentum well into the future,” Bombardier president and CEO Éric Martel said of the reorganization to take effect February 20. “Our leadership team members are talented and have delivered on commitments time and again these past years, and this new alignment will further build upon the foundations they have successfully set for Bombardier.”
Jean-Christophe Gallagher, who has helped spearhead a major expansion of the company’s support facilities as executive v-p of services, support, and corporate strategy, will step into the new role of executive v-p of aircraft sales and Bombardier Defense. In that position, Gallagher will lead all aspects of Bombardier Defense, which was <a href="https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/business-aviation/2022-04-19/bombardier-announces-new-roles-wichita-site" target="_blank">established last year</a> as the company eyed further expansion into the special-mission&nbsp;market. In addition, Gallagher will oversee the company’s sales team which continues to be led by Peter Likoray, senior v-p of new aircraft sales.
Paul Sislian, who is executive v-p of operations, will become executive v-p of Bombardier aftermarket services and strategy. Sislian formerly led the optimization of Bombardier’s business jet manufacturing facilities and processes and will be charged with the execution of the expanded services network.
Meanwhile, David Murray, who has been senior v-p of transformation, operational excellence, and information technology, will add aerostructures, assembly, and completions activities to his responsibilities in his position as executive v-p of manufacturing, IT, and Bombardier operational excellence system.
Éric Filion will take the role of executive v-p of programs and supply chain, responsible for Bombardier supplier relationships and continuous improvements for in-production Bombardier aircraft. Filion is returning to Bombardier after serving as an executive v-p at Hydro-Quebec.
Also, Michel Ouellette,&nbsp;a 33-year company veteran, will lead engineering and product development as executive v-p until his planned retirement in June.
“Michel’s contributions to Bombardier can certainly be enumerated at great length, and their positive and lasting impact on our people, our products and our company is simply immeasurable,” said Martel.
