Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Skylegs (Booth N115) was selected to provide its flight operations and sales software to Swiss-based charter operator Premium Jet. The software developer from Antwerp, Belgium, installed a cloud-based program that was tailored to the company’s operations. Premium Jet’s historical data was migrated into the cloud-based digital flight operations program and the software was customized with Premium Jets pricing models to enable seamless handling of quotes that come out of Avinode’s online charter brokerage network.

 


“The Skylegs system is up and running at Premium Jet and we’re very happy to see how smooth the integration took place,” said Skylegs managing director Maxim Schelfhout. Skylegs offers software options for dispatch, scheduling, training, safety management, compliance, flight time limes, electronic flight bag, sales, finance, and maintenance. Working with Eurocontrol, the company is able to upload all business aviation flight pans into its database to provide customers access to active flights in real-time on digital maps.

Premium Jet operates a fleet that includes the Bombardier Global Express, and Challenger 300 and 604, along with the Gulfstream G550 and Pilatus PC-24. In addition, Premium Jet also manages a fleet that encompasses Bombardier, Gulfstream, Embraer, and Cessna business jets.
