Environmentalists Tout Report in Supersonics Opposition
The report claims that certain regions could be exposed to up to 200 sonic booms daily and 96 million metric tons of CO2 would be released annually.
Spike Aerospace, which is developing the S-512 supersonic jet, objected to a new report projecting the harm supersonic travel would have on the environment, saying the findings are based on unfounded assumptions.
